Trust the universe?

July 14, 2026

I make the assumption that people around me have their own conscious experience of life with an intrinsic value equal to mine. We're inherently bound to the same system, reality, material or not, with no isolated ponds of will to judge us apart.

Why am I questioning whether to trust the universe if I have no choice? If we contextualize life as a play, having a sense of agency and separation is necessary to participate. In this play, as us, a small part of the universe, we have a will, judged by the larger part of the universe.

Love

In Swedish, combined, the words dear "kär" and play "lek" become love, or "kärlek". It dawned on me while trying to understand the meaning of Agape. Play emphasizes an act rather than a feeling. By focusing on the play of life, understanding its transient and sacrificial nature, you find yourself in flow. You're in it for the love of the game.

Älskar jag dig?
Jag dig?
Dig?
Dig.
Dig jag.
Dig jag älskar.

Kära kärlek vi ska leka.

God calling until I return the call. To play dear, or be love, we align our play, becoming one.

Silence

Overwhelmed by life, I return to silence. You can't force love. In stillness, the universe sets the stage for more play.
